Junior MasterChef - Mystery Box and Invention Test

We have good news and bad news. Bad news: Looks like Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition will no longer be aired on daily primetime as previously reported. Good News: We have it on Saturdays and Sundays.

What's more, back to back challenges every episodes and no cliffhangers, we'll get to know the challenge winners at the end of every episodes!

In the October 1, 2011 episode of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition, we have the back to back challenge of Mystery Box and Invention Test.

Junior MasterChef Official 20 Contestants

After the Heats and Qualifying Rounds, the 60 kiddie cooks are now down to the 20 official contestants of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition.

These 20 contestants will face more cooking challenges like the Mystery Box Challenge, Invention Test, Off-site Challenge and Pressure Test until the first Pinoy Junior MasterChef is declared.

Junior MasterChef Second Qualifying Round - Pressure Test

The second qualifying round of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition is a Pressure Test.

The remaining 20 contestants compete in the second qualifying for the chance to fill the remaining ten spots in the Top 20 and be considered the official contestants of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition.

In this Pressure Test, the kiddie cooks are required to recreate a dish called Seared Tenderloin with Mashed Potato and Butter Glazed Vegetables and Mushroom Sauce. Ten best kiddie cooks to recreate the dish will qualify to the Top 20.

Junior MasterChef - Invention Test

One more week and we will meet the complete Top 20 kiddie cooks, or the official contestants of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition. Have you picked your favorite kiddie cook already?

In the qualifying rounds, the Top 30 will be shortened to the Top 20. There will be two qualifying rounds. In the first round, the 30 contestants will be divided into two groups of 15 kids. The five best kiddie cooks from each group will automatically join the official contestants of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition.

The remaining contestants will compete in the second round for the last 10 spots of the Top 20.

'Bilib na Bilib' by Maria Aragon - Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition OST

Youtube singing sensation Maria Aragon sang the theme song of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition called Bilib na Bilib.

Who says a cooking reality shows can't have an official soundtrack? And this theme song is appropriately sang by an eleven-year-old, similar to the range of the contestants' age.

In the song, Maria Aragon cheers the kiddie cooks to do their best and use their talents well to reach their dreams.

Junior MasterChef Third Heat Winning Seafood Dishes

In the third heat of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition, the last group of 20 contestants compete for the spot in the Top 30.

This time, the contestants are tasked to prepare seafood dishes under the time limit of one hour. All of their ingredients are available in the pantry.

Ten contestants with the most amazing dishes will make it to the Top 30. Once completed, the Top 30 will face in two qualifying rounds to get to the Top 20 where the first ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef will emerge.

Junior MasterChef Second Heat Winning Desserts

In the second heat of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition, the second group of 20 kiddie cooks vie for their place in the Top 30.

They are tasked to prepare desserts under the time limit of one hour. All of their ingredients are available in the pantry. All types of sweets and dessert ingredients are overflowing.

Ten contestants with the most amazing dishes will make it to the Top 30. Once completed, the Top 30 will face in two qualifying rounds to get to the Top 20 where the first ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef will emerge.

Junior MasterChef First Heat Winning Fiesta Dishes

In the first heat or challenge of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition, 20 of the Top 60 contestants vie for their spots in the Top 30.

These 20 contestants are tasked to cook dishes usually found in town fiestas. All ingredients are available in the pantry. They have one hour to prepare the dishes.

Ten contestants with the most amazing dishes will make it to the Top 30. Once completed, the Top 30 will face in two qualifying rounds to get to the Top 20 where the first ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef will emerge.

Junior MasterChef Elimination Process, Challenges and Prizes

Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition is not a regular cooking show. It features kids 8-12 years old who can cook professional-like dishes at such young ages.

These kiddie cooks are run through different strenuous challenges until there is only one last kid standing who will be crowned the first Pinoy Junior MasterChef and will receive the most amazing prizes.

Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition premieres August 20

For those who wants to know when Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition will start, it's on August 20, 2011!

This is a show I am really excited about. I have seen Junior MasterChef Autralia and I enjoyed it. Every dish that the kids came up makes you wish your future kids are as good cooks as they are.

Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition is a reality cooking talent show where a group of kids from age 8-12 are given cooking challenges like naming the ingredients through taste, cooking a dish from limited ingredients and even serving meals to a large group of people.

New Pinoy TV Shows this August 2011

Eight new Pinoy TV shows will come our way this August 2011. Three from GMA Network and two from ABS-CBN. Although the teasers of these shows says they will be shown this August, some of them may still be moved.
