Eight new Pinoy TV shows will come our way this August 2011. Three from GMA Network and two from ABS-CBN. Although the teasers of these shows says they will be shown this August, some of them may still be moved.

August 8 - Big Thing (GMA)
August 15 - Pahiram ng Isang Ina (GMA)
August 15 - Maria la del Barrio (ABS-CBN)
August 20 - Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition (ABS-CBN)
August 22 - My Binondo Girl (ABS-CBN)
August 29 - Iglot (GMA)
Upcoming Philippine TV Shows August 2011
Time of My Life is the first ever dance drama series or as GMA dubs it, danserye, on Philippine television. It is topbilled by Kris Bernal, Mark Herras and Rocco Nacino. Also featured are Jean Garcia, Raymond Bagatsing and Cherie Gil.
The Fierce Wife is a Taiwanese drama about a happily married couple with a daughter until the husband cheated with her wife's cousin. It stars Sonia Sui, Wen Sheng Hao and Amanda Zhu.
Big Thing is a Korean drama about a former news announcer who became the first female president of Korea. It features Ko Hyun Jung, Kwon Sang Woo and Cha In Pyo.
Pahiram ng Isang Ina features Bea Binene, Jhake Vargas, Carmina Villaroel. It will be an afternoon drama directed by Joel Lamangan.
Maria la del Barrio is the remake of the hit Mexicanovela of the same title played by Thalia. The Mexicanovela was first aired in 1996 on RPN. Erich Gonzales will play the role of Maria Hernandez and Enchong Dee and Arron Villaflor will be her leading men.
Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition is a reality cooking show which features children ages 8-12. It is hosted by Judy Ann Santos.
My Binondo Girl is a Chinese-themed drama featuring Kim Chiu with her three leading men, Jolo Revilla, Xian Lim at Matteo Guidicelli. It is said that some of the scenes in the series will be shot in China.
Iglot is a fantasy drama series about an egg which is the last of its race and a mother looking for her daughter. It features Claudine Barretto, Marvin Agustin, Luis Alandy, at Jolina Magdangal.
