Review: Big Thing (GMA 7)

Big Thing follows the journey of a TV announcer, Maureen Seo (Ko Hyun Jung), who will become the first female president of South Korea. She is not born from an influential family. She didn't also have a rich family (actually, there's no mention of her family in the series). She just wants to give justice to the death of her husband in the hands of terrorists, and all other problems that she saw around her.

It is also about the journey of Edward Ha (Kwon Sang Woo), a happy-go-lucky guy who loves dancing and doesn't know what to do with his life. Until he saw his father humiliated by a congressman. He promised he will study and become a lawyer and work in the prosecutors office to sue corrupt public officials.

Big Thing on GMA 7 stars Lady Mishil and Cholo

Lady Mishil of Queen Seon Deok and Cholo of Stairway to Heaven come together in a very special TV series which is dubbed as the best Koreanovela of 2010, Dae Mul, or Big Thing.

Big Thing is the story of a TV announcer who became the first president of South Korea.

It is said that Big Thing topped its timeslot for 11 consecutive weeks in the ratings. This is mainly due to its controversial plot, which included events from Korea’s recent past such as a presidential impeachment and the sinking of a Navy warship.

New Pinoy TV Shows this August 2011

Eight new Pinoy TV shows will come our way this August 2011. Three from GMA Network and two from ABS-CBN. Although the teasers of these shows says they will be shown this August, some of them may still be moved.
