Review: Time of My Life (GMA 7)

Time of My Life is doing good in Mega Manila ratings, but not in the National. In any case, both ratings showed a lot of people watched the first ever danserye on Philippine television. But the question is, did the people like it?

GMA Network is promoting this drama series as a new genre of of drama, that is, a mix of drama and dance. Do you think this teleserye is enough to be called a new genre? Or is it just like any other teleserye?

Time of My Life teaser trailers, cast and plot summary

GMA Network is introducing a new genre on Philippine primetime, a dance drama series, which they call, a danserye.

Although we can see that this may be inspired by the movie Step Up and foreign reality shows like Got to Dance and So You Think You Can Dance, it may be the first ever primetime dance drama series on Philippine television.

Time of My Life features the modern dance moves of Kris Bernal, Mark Herras and Rocco Nacino and the veteran moves of Jean Garcia, Raymond Bagatsing and Cherie Gil.

New Pinoy TV Shows this August 2011

Eight new Pinoy TV shows will come our way this August 2011. Three from GMA Network and two from ABS-CBN. Although the teasers of these shows says they will be shown this August, some of them may still be moved.
