The remaining 20 contestants compete in the second qualifying for the chance to fill the remaining ten spots in the Top 20 and be considered the official contestants of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition.
In this Pressure Test, the kiddie cooks are required to recreate a dish called Seared Tenderloin with Mashed Potato and Butter Glazed Vegetables and Mushroom Sauce. Ten best kiddie cooks to recreate the dish will qualify to the Top 20.

Second Qualifying Round - Pressure Test
Like in all Pressure Tests, the judges will be looking for pressure points in the dishes that the kiddie cooks are creating. In the Seared Tenderloin with Mashed Potato and Butter Glaze Vegetables and Mushroom Sauce, there are four pressure points.
- Steak - must be pink and medium rare
- Mashed pototo - must be exact shape and not runny
- Vegetables - must be cooked perfectly
- Sauce - must have exact sauce consistency
Provided with the ingredients and the recipe, the kids are instructed to taste the dish and observe its plating before getting in culinary action. They have one hour and fifteen minutes to cook the dish.
Junior MasterChef Pressure Test 10 Qualifiers
The Pressure Test is what separates the best kiddie cooks from the rest. It really shows which kiddie cooks has what it takes to be a Junior MasterChef. This challenge proves that real cooking is no child's play.
