The love story of Mariella (Claudine Barretto) and Anton (Marvin Agustin) is one of the oldest love story in the book. Anton is just a farmer and Mariella's auntie doesn't approve of him. Mariella's bestfriend Ramona (Jolina Magdangal) is secretly in love with Anton. Mariella's ex-boyfriend Juancho (Luis Alandy), the Governor's son, wants her back.
Although I admire GMA 7's original concepts, I don't like how they write their dialogues. The actual script made great actors ineffective. Looks like the writers doesn't know the difference between a play and a screenplay.

Iglot (GMA 7) Review
Mariella and Anton had a baby before marriage. Is this fantasy drama, which is also meant to be seen by kids, promotes premarital sex?
Juancho convinces Ramona to tell Anton about her feelings and sent his assistant Aldo (Patrick Garcia) to take pictures of them together and sent those pictures to Mariella just before the wedding.
Ramona fled the town. Anton was abducted which made it seem that they fled together.
Mariella eventually married Juancho while he finds a way to get rid of her baby girl.
The story of Iglot is very backwards. This are the stories told decades ago and shouldn't be told again. The addition of Unggiko's egg in the plot doesn't make it modern.
So far, there are no episodes without Claudine and Milkcah Wynne Nacion crying.
They should be transferring this show to day time or just stop airing it altogether.
