Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum (TV5) trailer, cast and plot summary

Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum was previously set to air last June, but was postponed to give way to Robin Padilla's action drama on ABS-CBN, Guns and Roses.

Robin Padilla portrays the main character in the original movie in 1991. Now that Guns and Roses is up to its end, TV5 offers their first ever actionserye on Philippine television.

Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum stars JC de Vera and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, the 17-year-old sister of Anne Curtis. This is Jasmine's first ever appearance in a drama series.

Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum Plot Summary/Synopsis

Here is the plot summary of Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum (1991) movie. You can see some similarities in plot of the movie with Guns and Roses, which is why the actionserye was postponed.

Behind his bad boy image, Ben has a big heart, the modern day Robinhood collects grease money from jeepney drivers in behalf of the syndicate. He then gets a meager amount in return which he uses to feed hie adoptive parents whom he loves dearly.

One day his boss Salazar proposed that he kidnap children who comes form a wealthy family. The offer was financially rewarding but Ben refused it. Because Salazar is desperate, he kidnaps Ben's loved ones and the only way to redeem them is by abducting Bing and her brother. Left with no choice, Ben does what he is instructed to do.

But instead of turning over his captives, he flees with his family, Bing and her brother. The police and the syndicate runs after them but they fail. But as Ben and Bing spend more time with each other, they get to know each other better. Ben not only captured Bing, but he also captured her heart. Will they be able to keep their love after Ben returns Bing to her dad?
