Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.
Let us blame Jade (Kim Chiu) for setting their residence on fire and for the death of Chen Sy II (Robi Domingo) in a car accident. She wished that she be with her father, which can't happen if the Dimaguiba family have no problem and if the heir is alive. That's why the universe had to connive and bring her what she wished for.
Nice one Jade. If you hadn't been so selfish.
Anyway, here's my review of My Binondo Girl.

My Binondo Girl (ABS-CBN) Review
The first week of My Binondo Girl is a blast. Everything happens so fast and that's a good thing. We get funny and cute moments with the young Jade (Mutya Orquia) and young Onyx (Izzy Canillo) and we didn't have to wait long to see the present Jade (Kim Chiu).
At first it didn't make sense to me why Jade would pretend to be her brother Yuan. Because of the fast-pacing of this dramedy, we now know that she did it to get her mother (Ai-Ai delas Alas) and grandmother (Gina Pareno) out of jail.
I actually want more cute moments with the young Jade and Onyx. Their chemistry works better than with Kim Chiu and Jolo Revilla. Maybe Mutya and Izzy should have a show of their own.
Jolo Revilla's acting is the weakest link in this series. He is always shouting, serious, and intense in every scene, which makes it appear he is overacting already.
All in all, it is a great watch. I want to know how it would turn out now that Jade is playing Yuan.
