Enchong kisses Erich's boobs in Maria la del Barrio (August 18, 2011 Episode)

In the second time that their characters met in Maria la del Barrio, Enchong Dee accidentally fell on top of Erich Gonzales. While trying to get up, he accidentally kissed Erich's boobs.

In their first meeting, Maria Hernandez (Erich Gonzales) caught Luis Fernando dela Vega (Enchong Dee) bathing in the river, presumably naked.

That time, Luis advanced but Maria threw sticks at him and ran away. But this time, Maria had no where to go. Luis had her pinned down.

Why is Maria la del Barrio (ABS-CBN) delayed?

There are three sides to the story on why Maria la del Barrio was delayed.

According to Wikipedia, there were speculations that the production had to re-film because the network was not convinced with the outcome. There were also changes on the cast.

According to others, Maria la del Barrio, together with other remakes Nasaan Ka Elisa? and PHR Presents: Hiyas, did not meet the standards of MTRCB because of very mature scenes.

According to the directors, the production took time because there were changes made to the original story of the Mexicanovela to suit the Filipino audience and they needed to get the permission of the Televisa Network in Mexico to effect these changes.
